Description

This color depositing shampoo gently tones brass and orangey tones from brunettes or darker while cleansing the hair. Formulated for hydration and maximum color retention.

Pro Tip:
Why blue? Blue is the opposite of orange on the color wheel. The tones used in our Blue Shampoo are meant to fight brassy orange tones in hair. Blue Shampoo can also be used to maintain fashion blue dyes.

Benefits

Organic Aloe Vera Extract: As with most of our products, Aloe is the first ingredient in this product. It contains enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. Aloe vera has a chemical make-up similar to that of keratin, rejuvenating the hair, giving it more elasticity and preventing breakage.

Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters: Naturally increased dye uptake and promotes color retention. Assists with hydration and detangling. Silicone alternative.

Hydrolyzed Jojoba Protein: Effective plant-based protein for repairing and conditioning damaged hair. Helps hair retain moisture and adds shine.

Sucrose Cocoate: Natural, PEG-free moisturizer derived from coconuts. Helps to make shampoo foam denser so that targeted application is easier (such as when roots need to be toned longer than ends). Simply add more water and lather further to disperse shampoo throughout hair.

How To Use

Lather and leave on for 1-5 minutes depending on desired intensity.

Pro Tip:
For very dry or damaged hair, you can mix a little bit of any Conditioner or a Mask into the shampoo in your palm before applying the shampoo. This allows you to customize your toning shampoo to your preferred level of conditioning!

How to Recycle

Products made of plastic are often stamped with a number. Look at the bottom of your bottle for the number.

1. Types 1 and 2 plastics may be tossed into recycle bin

2. Types 3-7 plastics may not be permitted in your recycle bin check with your municipality on guidelines

Clean out plastic packaging thoroughly and place it in the recycle bin; remove plastic pumps, droppers, sprayers, or other closures, and toss them in the trash bin. Caps check with your city if they take caps. Some do!

Very Blue!

Tried it once and seems to be a high quality product. When the shampoo came out of the bottle it was a very deep blue. I was worried it would stain my skin and my shower tile The blue did not cause a problem. I will keep using it once a week to see if it will keep the “Orange” away!!!

free from chemicals

Other blue and purple shampoos have dangerous chemicals but this product does not. It’s also great quality! As a brunette with blond highlights you’ll want the blue shampoo. I apply to dry hair and leave for 20mins. I rinse in kitchen sink and then proceed to shower just to make sure of no staining. Thank you Kavella!
